Mrs. Dorothy May (Morris) Bolduc Bartimole, age 86, longtime resident of Oxford, entered into peaceful rest on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014 at Amber Woods of Farmington.

She was born on April 11, 1927 in Seymour and was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mabel (Parmelee) Morris. She graduated from Seymour High School in 1946. Dorothy was predeceased by her first husband, Albert C. Bolduc and her second husband, John L. Bartimole. She was the Democratic Registrar of Voters for the Town of Oxford for 30 years before her retirement. She was a communicant of At. Thomas the Apostle Church and was a charter member of the DAV Auxiliary, charter member Little League Mothers of Oxford, Past President of the Democratic Social Club, Oxford Democratic Town Committee & Chairman and was an avid sports fan.

Dorothy is survived by three devoted sons, Donald R. Bolduc (Carol) of Trumbull, James A Bolduc (Vickie) of Inman, SC and Robert H, Bolduc (Lori) of Bristol and seven grandchildren, her brothers, Herbert J. Morris, Jr. of Stratford and George P. Morris of Oxford and several nieces and nephews. Her brother, William Morris and four sisters, Sara Pierpont, Mary Ostaszeski, Judith Ann Morris and Clara Blizzard predeceased her.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Jan. 24 at 9:15 a.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Thomas the Apostle Church, 733 Oxford Road, Oxford.
