Obituary for Dorothy Barrett

SEYMOUR,CT: Dorothy Barrett, 83 of Lakeview Avenue entered into peaceful rest August 9, 2003 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby, she was the beloved wife of Wesley Barrett. Mrs. Barrett was born July 4, 1920 in New Haven, CT, daughter of the late Thomas and Nellie (Hughes) Harris. She was a Seymour resident since 1950, and was Seymour’s first civilian volunteer dispatcher for the Seymour Ambulance Corps .
Besides her husband Dorothy leaves her loving family including two sons, Bruce Barrett and his wife Shirley of Whippany, NJ, and Brian Barrett, two daughters, Bonnie Morris and her husband Robert, and Betsy Merrill all of Seymour, also eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one granddaughter.
