Ellen, Mike and family, I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I have wonderful memories of your family as our next door neighbors and I am grateful for your family's kindness over the years. Ellen, you have been a wonderful caregiver to your mom during these last several years, not necessarily an easy task but you did it with a lot of love. I will keep everyone in my prayers. May your faith in God and your loving memories of your mom give you strength during these difficult times. God bless, Tom Heffernan, North Carolina

Ellen, Michael and family; Your family has been incredible neighbors both during our childhood and now as you keep an eye on our dad (Dan Heffernan, Sr.). Ellen, you've been such a loving, dutiful daughter to your mom and I know she felt loved and blessed to be so cared for. May your family find time to mourn and celebrate Dot's life even amidst the craziness of this global virus! You are in our thoughts and prayers. Marge (Heffernan) Cusick, North Carolina
