SEYMOUR, CT: Edith Elizabeth Kazmierski, age 86 of Seymour entered into peaceful rest September 8, 2010 at the Hewitt Memorial Hospital, Shelton; she was the beloved wife of the late Henry S. Kazmierski. Mrs. Kazmierski was born May 3, 1924 in Derby, daughter of the late Frederick and Rachael (McCreedy) Crossman. Edith was a retired Avon Representative which she did for 40 years. She had also formerly worked at Chatfield School, the Kerite Company, and was a former secretary for the Valley Board of Realtors.

Edith leaves her loving family including her son, James H. Kazmierski and his wife Nancy of Waxhaw, NC, and her daughter, Susan Ascencao and her husband Jose' of Naugatuck, two grandchildren, Nicholas and Melissa Ascencao, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Mary Tingley.

A funeral service in celebration of Edith's life will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the Seymour Congregational Church, 15 Broad Street, Seymour. Interment will be in Mountain Meadows Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call also on Monday prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 161 West Church Street, Seymour.
