Obituary for Edward W. Molsick, Sr.

BETHANY, CT: Edward W. Molsick, Sr., age 73 of Seymour Road, entered into rest December 7, 2002 at the West Haven Veteran’s Administration Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Pearl (Dilley) Molsick. Mr. Molsick was born November 2, 1929 in Derby, son of the late Walter and Julia (Belz) Molsick. Edward was retired after many years as the former owner of Ed Molsick Construction, Bethany. He was a communicant of St. Augustine Church, Seymour, and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War; Edward was also a member of Post 02448, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Bethany.
Besides his wife Edward leaves his loving family including, 2 sons, Edward W. Molsick, Jr., and his wife Kathie of Woodbridge, and Craig Molsick and his wife Debra of Bethany. 1 daughter, Julianne Carney and her husband Joseph of Bethany. 1 sister, Eleanor Duplese of Bethany. Also 2 grandchildren, Roland and Regan Molsick both of Bethany.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. from the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour, to St. Augustine Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will be in Mountain Meadows Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be sent to the American Diabetes Association, 300 Research Parkway, Meriden, CT 06450.
