Obituary for Edwin Ralph "Ed" Hull

Edwin Ralph "Ed"  Hull
CUMBERLAND FORESIDE, ME: Edwin R. Hull, age 65 of Cumberland Foreside, ME, formerly of Bethlehem and Seymour, CT entered into peaceful rest on November 29, 2010 in Portland. Edwin was born February 23, 1945 in New Brunswick, NJ, son of the late Ralph E. and Janice A. (Groesbeck) Hull. Ed was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam war, and subsequently served in the U.S. Navy for ten years. Ed was a member of the David S. Miles Post 174 American Legion, Oxford, CT. He worked in numerous fields including newspapers, firearms, and most recently in the automotive sales industry. Ed was an expert in sporting firearms and was an avid hunter and fresh water fisherman; he also enjoyed reading.

Mr. Hull leaves his loving family including his sister, Sandra Porter and her husband Glenn with whom he resided in Cumberland Foreside, David E. Hull of Gaylordsville, CT and Franklyn E. Hull and his wife Jane of Seymour, CT, an aunt, Doris Groesbeck of Basking Ridge, NJ, a cousin Betsy Lobdell of Seymour, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service in celebration of Edwin's life will be held Sunday at 7:30 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be private in Trinity Cemetery, Seymour. Family and friends may call at the funeral home also on Sunday prior to the service from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the David S.
