Obituary for Faye Lauria

Bethany, CT: Faye M. Lauria, age 81 of Hunters Trail, entered into rest August 26, 2002 at the CT Hospice, Branford; she was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Lauria. Mrs. Lauria was born November 7, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Rocco and Marie Consalvi Pascucci. She resided in Bethany since 2001, having lived in Great Neck, NY prior to that for 49 years. Faye was a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Woodbridge, and a former communicant of St. Aloysius Church, Great Neck, NY.
Faye leaves her loving family including, 1 son Frederick Lauria of Great Neck, NY. 6 daughters, Angela Baumann of Bayshore, NY, Marie Baumann of Great Neck, NY, Ellen Skinner of North Haven, Paula Wilson of Bethany, Grace Skidell of Jericho,NY, and Toni Ann Shelofsky of Port Washington, NY. 1 brother, Joseph Pascucci of Boca Raton, FL. 2 sisters, Louise Spitaleri of Staten Island, NY, and Josephine Chicarelli of Kissemee, FL. Also 11 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 75 Center Road, Woodbridge. Entombment will be in the Garden Mausoleum in the Cemetery of the Holy Rood, with a service of committal at 3:00 p.m. in the cemetery’s Assumption Chapel, Westbury, NY. There are no calling hours. Memorial gifts may be sent to the Mayor Donald P. Baumann Community Service Scholarship, c/o Great Neck Student Aide Fund, Inc., P.O. Box 1057, Great Neck, NY 11023, or to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Ralph E.
