NEWTOWN, CT: Mrs. Frances Jones Grey, age 95, of Newtown and formerly of Vermont, beloved wife of the late David S. Grey, passed away on May 2, 2011 at River Glen Health Care Center, Southbury, CT.

Daughter of the late Herbert G. and Margaret (Kelsey) Jones, Frances was born on March 25, 1916 in Ardmore, PA. She was a Psychiatric Social Worker for McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA for many years. Her avocation was classical cello and she performed with many amateur orchestras and chamber groups over her lifetime.

Mrs. Grey is survived by her daughter, Wendy Grey of Newtown and three sons, Peter Grey of Sherborn, MA, Sumner Grey of West Brattleboro, VT, and Mark Grey of Canandaigua, NY, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She also leaves a nephew and his family, Ian and Ethel Ann Roome of Southbury.

Memorial Service will be held in private. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Danbury Music Center, 256 Main Street, Danbury, CT 06810.
