Obituary for Frank J. Konikowski

SEYMOUR, CT: Frank James Konikowski, age 81 of Airport Freeway, Bedford, Texas formerly of Davis Road, Seymour, CT, entered into peaceful rest April 14, 2003 in Southlake, TX, he was the beloved husband of Irene Krupski Konikowski. Frank was born October 10, 1921 in Dixon City, PA, son of the late Alexander and Margaret (Machowski) Konikowski. He was a communicant, and retired sexton of the Church of the Good Shepherd, also a retired plumber from the Seymour Oil Company. Frank was a WW II U.S. Army Veteran, serving with the 88th Division in the European Theater of Operations; he was also a member of the Emil Senger, Post 10 American Legion. Frank was a former volunteer fire fighter, and Past Captain of the Great Hill Hose Co.
Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Karen Konikowski Poor of Southlake, TX, a brother, Thomas Konnik, and a sister Helen Behuniak both of Seymour, a granddaughter, Stacey Poor of Southlake, CA, also several nieces and nephews. His brothers Edward Konnik, and Al Konikowski predeceased him.
Funeral Services will be Friday at 9:15 a.m. from the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour to The Church of the Good Shepherd where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment with full Military Honors will be in St. Augustine Cemetery.
