Obituary for Frank Ocxkowski, Ocxkowski, Sr.

SEYMOUR, CT: Frank E. Ocxkowski, Sr., age 86 of French Street entered into rest March 10, 2002 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby. He was the beloved husband of 54 years to Helen Kaiser Ocxkowski.
Mr. Ocxkowski was born May 11, 1915 in Dunkirk, NY, son of the late Joseph and Sophie Chiuk Ocxkowski. He was a Seymour resident for 60 years, coming from Oxford. Frank was a retired Flat Wire Department Foreman for 45 years with the Bridgeport Brass Co., and also with Seymour Manufacturing Co. He was a WW II U.S. Army Veteran and served with the 8th Coast Artillery. Frank was a communicant of Saint Augustine Church, a member of the David S. Miles Post, American Legion, Oxford, and the Aurora Council Knights of Columbus. He was an avid fisherman and golfer.
Besides his wife Frank leaves his loving family including, 1 son Frank E. Ocxkowski, Jr. of Seymour. 1daughter Nancy Payne and her husband John of Oxford. 3 sisters, Elizabeth Hale , and Helen Czerwinski both of Seymour, and Rose Sheehy of Beacon Falls. 2 beloved grandchildren, Missy and Jeffrey Payne both of Oxford. Also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. from the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour, to St. Augustine Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will be in Mountain Meadows Cemetery.
