Obituary for George H. Cole Jr.

George H.  Cole Jr.
SEYMOUR, CT: George H. Cole, Jr., age 38 of Seymour entered into peaceful rest April 1, 2012 at CT Hospice, Branford. Mr. Cole was born April 25, 1973 in Derby, beloved son of George H., Sr. and Harriet Betty (Klein) Cole of Seymour. George was a self employed plumber, and had founded G.C. Mechanical Co.; he had also been employed by Oatley Mechanical Services of Oxford. George was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, camping and sitting around a campfire. He will be fondly remembered as "the center of attention and attraction", George had the wonderful ability to "light up a room". He was also known for his generosity and would "give you the shirt off of his back". "He loved his Mustang, but he dearly loved his mother".

In addition to his parents George leaves his cherished son, Kyle Jacen Smith Cole of Beacon Falls, his loving sister, Sherry Dupuis and her husband Donald of Seymour and two nephews, Shawn and Brian Dupuis of Seymour.

A funeral service in celebration of George's life will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the Seymour Congregational Church, 15 Broad Street, Seymour. Interment will be in Mountain Meadows Cemetery, Seymour. Family and friends are invited to call Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour.
