Obituary for Gerard Russell Fletcher

SEYMOUR, CT: Gerard Russell Fletcher, 43 of Derby Avenue, entered into peaceful rest August 24, 2003 at his home. He was the devoted husband of Darlene (Daigle) Fletcher. Mr. Fletcher was born January 18, 1960 in Bridgeport, beloved son of Simone Louisette (Berger) Fletcher of Seymour, and the late Charles Leroy Fletcher. He was a communicant of the Seymour Foursquare Gospel Church, and he had formerly been a sheet metal mechanic with the New England Furnace Co.
Besides his wife and mother, Gerard leaves his loving family including two step-sons, Richard Fonck of Ansonia, and Christopher Daigle of Milford, three brothers, Jack Leroy Fletcher of Naugatuck, Jean-Pierre Charles Fletcher of Orange, Claude Daniel Fletcher of Seymour, three sisters, Charlene Louisette Fletcher of Seymour, Michelle Annie Larson of Ansonia, and Jacqueline France Calzone of Oxford; also several nieces and nephews. His brother James Fletcher predeceased him.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the Seymour Foursquare Gospel Church, 56 West Street, Seymour. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Union Cemetery.
