Obituary for Glenn Higgs

OXFORD, CT: Glenn E. Higgs age 59 of Coppermine Road, entered into rest August 26, 2002 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby. He was the beloved husband of Maria Higgs. Mr. Higgs was born June 28, 1943 in Chicago, IL, son of the late Glenn and Irene Olsen Higgs. He resided in Oxford since 1974. Glenn was a self-employed handyman, and formerly worked at Bunker-Ramo, Trumbull as electronics engineer. He was an avid model airplane enthusiast, and was a member of the International Plastic Modelers Society, Stratford.
Besides his wife he leaves 1 son Carl Higgs of Endicott, NY. 2 daughters, Jennifer Falaro of West Milford, NJ, and Cindy Straka of Gardner, NC. 1 half sister Shelly Larson of Chicago, IL; also 6 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West church Street, Seymour. Interment will be in Southford Cemetery, Oxford. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. just prior to the service. Please omit flowers.
