Obituary for H. Caroline Kilroy

OXFORD, Ct Hildur Caroline Kilroy, 88 known as "Carol" entered into peaceful rest January 25, 2006 at Griffin Hospital. Mrs Kilroy was the widow of William A. Kilroy. She was born in Norwich, May 22, 1917 daughter of the late Charles W. and Hildur (Berggren) Pearson. Mrs. Kilroy was a resident of Oxford since 1957. Carol was a secretary and bookkeeper for the former Seymour Water Co. for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Oxford and a soloist in the church choir. Her hobbie was raising Great Prynees dogs with her husband for many years. Carol was the youngest of eight pre-deceased siblings. She leaves eight nephews and nieces. A Celebration of Carol’s life will be held Saturday at 11:00am at the Immanuel Lutheran Church St. 25 Great Hill Rd. Oxford. There are no calling hours. Burial will be held at a later date in Yantic Cemetery, Norwich, Ct. Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home 161 West Church St. Seymour is in charge of arrangements.
