Obituary for Harry ""Sonny"" Healey

SEYMOUR, CT: Harry A. "Sonny" Healey, age 84 of Bungay Road, entered into peaceful rest July 8, 2004 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby; he was the beloved husband of Dorothy (Wanciak) Healey. Mr. Healey was born October 27, 1919 in Derby, son of the late Harry A., Sr., and Amelia (Gressott) Healey, he was a lifelong Seymour resident, and was a retired truck driver for the Derby Feed Company, and was also a retired dairy farmer with the family farm, Balance Rock Farm of Seymour. In his retirement, Harry enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and bringing in the hay every season.
Besides his wife, Harry leaves his loving family including his daughter Cheryl Healey of Seymour, two sisters, Harriet Martin of Seymour, and Katherine Rossignol of New Milford. Her sisters Julia H. Stone, Alice Sertic, and Elizabeth Brice all predeceased her.
A memorial service in celebration of Harry’s life will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. There are no calling hours.
