Life Story for Harry Marasco

STRATFORD and BEACON FALLS, CT: MARASCO, HARRY, age 91 of Stratford, formerly of Beacon Falls passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2013. Born in Seymour, the son of Josephine and Natale Marasco. He had been a resident of Beacon Falls most of his life. Harry was a retired employee of Avco Corporation in Stratford and had previously owned and operated Brickcrete Corporation in Beacon Falls. Harry was a WW II U.S. Army Veteran. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 68 years Ann N. Marasco, his loving daughter Linda Coppola and his infant son Harry Phillip Marasco. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Angelo, Felice, Wedo, and Raymond Marasco. He is survived by his daughter Marilyn Fusco and her husband Alfred of Stratford, and his son-in-law Pasquale Coppola of Naugatuck. Other survivors include five grandchildren Suzanne Sliker (Todd) of Southington, Allison Streeto (Ralph) of East Haven, Jay Fusco (Jennifer) of Guilford, Matthew Coppola of Seymour, Nicole Quigley of Middletown, and eight great grandchildren, Justin, Audrey, and Kevin Sliker, Anthony, and Michael Streeto, Jack and Matthew Fusco and Raymond Quigley. He will be deeply missed by his brother Arthur Marasco of North Carolina, his sisters-in-law, Jill Marasco of North Haven and Mary Finkle of Seymour, and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Michael's Church, 25 Maple Avenue, Beacon Falls. Interment with full Military Honors will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery, Seymour. There are no calling hours.
