The Beautiful Wedding Dress

Mom, It doesn't feel like a year since your passing.  It feels more like yesterday because the pain and sadness within me is heavy.  I listened to Elvis on the way to work this morning and I cried and smiled at the same time.  You were the one always carrying the burden of your LOVED ones misfortunes and sorrow.  You never wanted any of us to feel pain so you...Yes you... always were our burden carrier.  I miss you Mom you were so Beautiful and Graceful. So much LOVE to share.  I laughed at the thought of you and Carol picking out my wedding dress...I thought my GOD this dress is BEAUTIFUL!  I was planning a small garden wedding and was going to wear a more simple dress.  Thank you for always making me feel special. Love your daughter Laurie XO
