Obituary for Irene Mary Chvirko (Zynko)

Irene  Mary   Chvirko (Zynko)
Mrs. Irene M. Chvirko, age 43, beloved wife of Gregory Chvirko of Seymour, passed away on June 10, 2013 at Bridgeport Hospital.

She was the beloved daughter of Edward and Betty (Vasko) Zynko of Milford and Mary Heltke and was born on October 13, 1969 in New Haven. Irene was a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University. She was a U.S. Air Force veteran and served during Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Irene was also member of St. Augustine’s Church.

In addition to her loving husband and parents, Irene was the devoted mother of Joshua, Michael and Olivia. She was also a cherished Sister, Aunt and Daughter in Law and will be dearly missed by all.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 14 at 2:00 p.m. (Directly) at St. Augustine’s Church, 35 Washington Avenue, Seymour. Interment to follow in St. Augustine’s Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Irene Chvirko Children’s Fund, c/o First Niagra Bank, 11 First Street, Seymour, CT 06483.
