WATERBURY, CT: Isabella Cyr, age 81 of Platt Street, entered into rest September 10, 2002, at the Mediplex of Southbury after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Ralph Cyr. Mrs. Cyr was born March 12, 1921 in St. Anne, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of the late Joseph and Alma Berube Levesque. She resided in Waterbury for the past 19 years, formerly of Ansonia, and Seymour. Isabella’s passion was her love of cooking.
Besides her husband she leaves her loving family including 4 sons, Ernest Cyr, and his wife Sandra of Ft. Meyers, FL, Wayne Cyr and his wife Donna of Naugatuck, Allyre Cyr and his wife Gwen, of Oxford, and John Cyr and his wife Jane of Middlebury. 1 sister Jeanette Riley of Prospect; also 8 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Mountain Rd., Seymour. Interment will be in Mountain Meadows Cemetery, Seymour. Family and friends may call Thursday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour.
