Obituary for James R. Sullivan

SEYMOUR, CT: James R. Sullivan, age 59 of South Main Street, entered into peaceful rest April 5, 2003 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby. Mr. Sullivan was born August 29, 1943 in Derby, beloved son of Anna (Madigosky) Sullivan of Seymour, and the late W. Newell Sullivan. James was a lifelong Seymour resident. He was employed at the Seymour Stop and Shop Store, and for many years formerly at the Ansonia Stop and Shop Store. James graduated from New Haven College, and was an avid miniature train enthusiast.
Besides his mother he leaves his loving family including, three nieces, Doreen Carotenuto and her husband Dominic of Orange, Helene Abrams and her husband Rob of Ansonia, and Kathleen McInnis and her husband Dann of Shelton, also one nephew, Frank Koshes and his wife Jenny of Orange. His sister Dorothy Sullivan Koshes predeceased him.
Funeral services are private. Interment will be in Mount Saint Peter Cemetery, Derby. There are no calling hours. Memorial gifts may be sent to the charity of one’s choice. The Ralph E.
