Obituary for John William Booth

John William  Booth
Mr. John William Booth, age 64, beloved husband of 38 years to Frances Elaine (Kelly) Booth of Seymour, passed away on Monday, Dec. 13, 2010 in Griffin Hospital, Derby.

He was born in Bridgeport on March 2, 1946 to Grace (Judge) Booth of Stratford and the late John Booth. Mr. Booth was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an accountant for a number of companies, which include Bridgeport Brass, Seymour Brass, Infanor and Tru-Love. He was a member of the David S. Miles, American Legion Post 174 in Oxford.

In addition to his loving wife, he leaves a brother, Bill Booth and his wife Debbie of Huntington, a sister, Mary Alice Belle and her husband George of Stratford and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by four brothers in law, Bill Kelly, David Kelly, Bill Wilkerson and Dick Pochy. His son, Daniel P. Booth, a brother, Paul F. Booth, and two sisters in law, Loretta and Florence predeceased him.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, Dec. 18 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be held in private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Booth’s memory to the David S.
