BEACON FALLS, CT: John "Jack" Micknak, Jr. age 82 of Beacon Falls, formerly of Seymour entered into peaceful rest February 18, 2012 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby; he was the beloved husband of Anne "Dolly"(Miller) Micknak. Mr. Micknak was born February 8, 1930 in Seymour, son of the late John, Sr. and Mary (Kukiel) Micknak. He was a retired Design Draftsman. Jack was a longtime member of the Board of Directors of Trinity Cemetery Association, Seymour, he enjoyed gardening, fishing, woodworking, and was an avid N.Y. Yankees Baseball Fan.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his loving family including a son, John "Jack" Micknak, III (Kathleen) of Beacon Falls, a brother, Donald Micknak of Missoula, MT, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. HIs son, Jeffrey, and sister Arlene Vaivoda predeceased him.

There are no calling hours all services are private. Interment will be in Trinity Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
