SEYMOUR, CT: John Piekarski, Sr., age 45 of Edgehill Terrace, he entered into peaceful rest January 22, 2003 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby; he was the beloved husband of Robin (MacDonald) Piekarski. He was born September 27, 1957 in Derby, beloved son of Josephine (Sadlowski) Pierkowski of Seymour, and the late Henry Piekarski. John was a lifelong Seymour resident, and had attended St. Joseph Church, Ansonia. He was an electrician for the past 23 years at Sikorsky Aircraft, Stratford, and John enjoyed fishing, radio-controlled cars, and woodworking; he was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. John was a Seymour High School graduate of the class of 1975.
Besides his wife and mother, John leaves his loving family including 2 sons, John Piekarski, Jr., and Franklin Piekarski both of Seymour. 1 brother, Henry Piekarski of Seymour. 2 sisters, Laura Piekarski of Ansonia, and Joan Piekarski of Seymour. His twin brother Joseph Piekarski predeceased him.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 west Church Street, Seymour.
