SEYMOUR, CT: John E. Skuches, age 92 of Maple Street, entered into peaceful rest February 15, 2003 at the Shady Knoll Health Center. He was the beloved husband for 69 years, of Lena (Alshuk) Skuches. He was born August 22, 1910 in Ansonia, son of the late Anthony and Mary Skuches. John was a Seymour resident since 1933, formerly of Ansonia. He was a communicant of the Three Saints Orthodox Church, Ansonia, and was a retired machinist from the Kerite Company, Seymour
Besides his wife John leaves his loving family including, 2 sons, John J. Skuches of Broomfield, CO, and William Skuches of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. 4 grandchildren, Scott Skuches of Milford, Lisa Wright of Spartenburg, S.C., Kenneth Skuches, and Paul Skuches both of Denver, CO; also several great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Three Saints Orthodox Church, 26 Howard Ave., Ansonia. Interment will be in Three Saints Cemetery, Seymour. Family and friends may call at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home also on Wednesday prior to the church service from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be sent to the Three Saints Church, Maintenance Trust Fund, 26 Howard Ave., Ansonia, CT 06401.
