SEYMOUR, CT: John Stosuy, Jr., age 64, entered into peaceful rest February 22, 2003 at the CT Hospice, Branford; he was the beloved husband of Adrienne (Wolniak) Stosuy. Mr. Stosuy was born February 8, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late John and Mary (Mohar) Stosuy. He was a lifelong Seymour resident. John was a graduate of Seymour High School, Class of 1957; he lettered in football, baseball, and basketball. Mr. Stosuy served for 4 years in the U.S. Navy. He was employed for the past 10 years as a packager at Sikorsky Aircraft, West Haven. John was an avid golfer, and a member of the Alumni A.C., and he was also a member of the Russian-American Club.
Besides his wife, John leaves his loving family including two daughters, Susan Stosuy of Seymour, and Jennifer Malta and her husband Luis, Jr. of Newtown,. one sister, Sophie Potter of Stratford one brother, Walter Stosuy of West Hartford., and several nieces and nephews. His brother Anthony and his sister Helen Miles predeceased him.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. from the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour, to the Church of the Good Shepherd where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will be in Mountain Meadows Cemetery.
