Obituary for Josephine Szostek

SEYMOUR, CT: Josephine Valley Szostek, age 81 of Walnut Street, entered into rest May 13, 2002 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank J. Szostek.
Mrs. Szostek was born January 22, 1921 in Seymour, daughter of the late Louis and Helen Malenson Valley. She was a communicant of St. Augustine Church, and was a lifelong Seymour resident.
Josephine leaves her loving family including, 1 daughter Helen Maluk of Seymour, 1 sister, Frances Vigliano of Springfield, MA, and 2 grandchildren, Virginia Thompson of Beacon Falls, and Scott Rillstone of Naugatuck. Her brothers Louis Valley, Jr., Joseph Valley, and her sister Mary Collon predeceased her.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1:15 p.m. from the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour to St. Augustine Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in St. Augustine Cemetery.
