SEYMOUR, CT: June M. Catlin, age 70 of Seymour, entered into peaceful rest on June 30, 2004 at her home. June was born June 17, 1934 in Derby, daughter of the late Kenneth and Margaret (McCarthy) Catlin. She was a resident of Seymour for most of her life, and was a retired Speech and Hearing Pathologist; she was employed in this capacity for thirty seven years with the City of Ansonia School System. June held a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Albertus Magnus College, New Haven, and she also held a Masters Degree in Education from Southern Connecticut University, New Haven; June also was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Navy. Ms. Catlin had a deep interest in, and was a patron of the Arts.
Ms. Catlin leaves her daughter Caroline Catlin of CT, her sister, Kathleen Freeman of Liverpool, NY, two nieces, Deborah Bianco, and Laureen Lane, also a grandniece Morgan Bianco all of Liverpool, NY.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 9:15 a.m. from the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour, to Saint Augustine Church where a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Saint Augustine Cemetery.
