Mrs. Lena “Nina” Minuto, age 91, beloved wife of 70 years to Nicholas F. Minuto of Seymour, entered into peaceful rest on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at CT Hospice in Branford.

She was born on October 23. 1921 in Seymour and was the daughter of the late Alex and Anna (Negrey) Saranchak. Mrs. Minuto was a communicant of Three Saints Orthodox Church in Ansonia and enjoyed gardening in her flower gardens, especially her roses. She grew up in Seymour and moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL after retirement and returned to Seymour in 2000.

In addition to her beloved husband, she leaves her devoted son, Frank Minuto of Derby, her granddaughter, Dacia L. Mirabelle and her husband Paul of Seymour and her great granddaughter, Jada Bird Mirabelle and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by many brothers and sisters.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
