"Lorita"

I was privileged to make so many memories with Loretta, that it is hard to decide what to share. I endearingly nicknamed her "Lorita" because it sounded exotic to us and always made us laugh. I met Loretta at BIC and was immediately taken in with her Irish charm and kindness. As a child I always wanted to play the piano, but funds were not available. After working a while at BIC I was able to rent a piano and begin. The day after delivery of the piano, there was an envelope on my desk with $20 and a note from Loretta (which I still keep) to put the money toward my first lesson. "Upbeat" is truly the perfect word for Loretta. It describes her personality and love for music at the same time. She never had a bad comment for anyone or anything. Her love for a healthy, natural way of living was passed on to me and I am forever grateful for that. I so enjoyed watching her play the banjo in Milford. Her enthusiasm for music and life was contagious. I was truly blessed to have her in my life. She remains in my heart and soul and I shall miss her forever.
