Obituary for Mary Jane Clark

SEYMOUR, CT: Mary Jane Georgiana Clark, age 86 pg Rimmon Street, entered into peaceful rest September 5, 2004 at her home; she was the beloved wife of the late Leo Clark. Mrs. Clark was born October 31, 1917 in Canada, daughter of the late Joseph and Rosalie (Prive’) Royea. Mary Jane was a Seymour resident since 1956, and was retired from the W.E. Bassett Company, Derby where she worked in the packaging department for twenty years. Mrs. Clark was a faithful communicant of the Church of the Good Shepherd, where she was a past member of the former Ladies Guild. Mary Jane’s passion was her love and devotion to her family; her other interests include quilting, crocheting, and entertaining her friends for lunch; she was also an avid bingo enthusiast.
Mrs. Clark leaves her loving family including, two daughters, Lorrianne "Ann" Bartlet and her husband Neil of Colleyville, TX, and Laurette Ramia and her husband Thomas of Seymour, five grandchildren, Nancee Waid and Daniel Bartlett of Lexington, KY, Kathy Bias of Alpharetta, GA, Leo Ramia of Oxford, and Susan Labacz of Naugatuck; also thirteen great grandchildren. Her brothers, William, Lionel and Paul Royea, and her sister Lillian Lise all predeceased her.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:15 a.m. from the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour, to the Church of the Good Shepherd where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Saint Augustine Cemetery.
