Mr. Michael J. Balko, age 45, of Ansonia passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2010.

He was born on October 8, 1965 in Derby to the late Peter Balko, Jr. and the late Arlene (Markut) Balko. Michael was a co-owner of Balko’s Service Station in Seymour. He was a member of the Russian Club in Seymour.

Michael is survived by four devoted brothers and sisters, Peter Balko, III of Seymour, Paul Balko and his companion, Robin Listorti of Seymour, Karen Balko of Milford and Kim Balko Lewis and her husband, Steven of Beacon Falls and a niece, Heidi Lewis Natalino and her husband, Roberto and a nephew, Ryan Lewis all of Beacon Falls. He is also survived by an aunt and uncle, Helen and Harold Hotchkiss of Seymour and many many dear friends.

Services and Interment will be held in private. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Citizen’s Engine Co. No 2, 26 DeForest Street, Seymour, CT 06483.
