Obituary for Michael G. Sutay

SEYMOUR, CT- Michael G. Sutay, 95 of 27 High St. entered into peaceful rest April 23, 2004 at Hewitt Memorial in Shelton. He was the husband of the late Christine (Curtiss) Morton Sutay. Michael was born February 2, 1909 in Stafford Springs, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Sutay and lived in Seymour since 1987, having moved from Bridgeport where he lived most of his life. He was a retired Maintenance Technician for the Bridgeport Housing Authority. Michael was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII serving in the European Theater of operations and was a P.O.W. in Germany.
He leaves a step-son Irving Morton and his wife Rita of Shelton and four grandchildren; Keith, Blaine, Sharon and Wayne Morton
Graveside service Tuesday at 10a.m. in Hillside Cemetery in Thomaston. There are no calling hours. The Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street has been entrusted with arrangements. To express condolences to his family online go to www.hullfh.com.
