Mrs. Minnie Rella Cioffi, age 94, of Seymour and formerly of Bronx, NY, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Hewitt Health & Rehab, Shelton.

Minnie was born on June 4, 1917 in Mt. Vernon, NY and was the daughter of the late John and Concetta (Gilardi) Caputo.

She is survived by her devoted children, Carlo Rella and his wife, Rae of Beacon Falls and Linda Bacon of Fishkill, NY, six grandchildren, Carol Gendron of Waterbury, Phillip Rella of North Haven, Nancy Bobbins of Prospect, Teddy Bacon of Colorado, Dean Bacon of Fishkill, NY and Kimberly Bacon of Buenos Aires, Argentina, six great grandchildren, Crystal French of Monroe, Gianna Rella of North Haven, Kya and Justus Bacon of CO and Veronica and Charlie Klein of Argentina and two great great grandchildren, Anna and Jonathan Petruny of Monroe and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the Nurses and Staff at Hewitt Health & Rehab for the exceptional care given to Minnie.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 30 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment to follow at Mountain Meadows Cemetery, Seymour. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
