DERBY, CT: Norlyn V. Festa, 41 of Derby entered into peaceful rest August 19, 2010 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby. She was the beloved youngest child of seven children of the late Ralph Festa , and Norlyn (Donofree) (Festa) Wolter and her husband Ronald of Oxford. Survived by her loving companion John Hunt of Derby and his three daughters, Jordan, Jessica, and Jailyn. She was born June 5, 1969 in Derby. Norlyn was a Purchasing Manager, formerly with Ivy Biomedical of Branford; she previously did modeling work for various retail stores including G Fox. Norlyn's passions were working out and exercise; she enjoyed decorating, cooking, and she loved her cats. She will be mostly remembered for her love of her two sons, Alexander and Zachariah Carroll of Derby. She was very involved with their passion for swimming and was the Past President of the Parents Swimming Organization at the Valley YMCA.

In addition to her mother, step-father, and sons, Norlyn leaves her loving family including two sisters, Sara Morgatto and her husband Gary of Seymour, and Elynor F. Makowski and her husband Gregg of Seymour, three brothers, Ralph M. Festa and his wife Donna of Danbury, Jon A. Festa of Seymour, and Thomas M. Festa and his wife Christine of Naugatuck, also a niece and eight nephews. Her brother Christopher Festa predeceased her.
