Obituary for Paul Sikeris

BETHANY, CT: Paul G. Sikeris, age 85 of Glenwood Court entered into peaceful rest March 2, 2004 at Yale New Haven Hospital; he was the beloved husband of the late Angeline (Panasis) Sikeris. Mr. Sikeris was born March 1, 1919 in Greece, son of the late George and Melpa Sikeris. Paul resided in Seymour before moving to Bethany thirty five years ago. He was the retired former owner of the Elm Food Store, and the also the former New Street Pizza, both in Seymour; Paul attended Christ Church, Bethany.
Mr. Sikeris leaves his loving family including two daughters, Anne Flannery of Elk Grove Village, IL, and Ona-May Slauson of Bethany, a sister Anastasia Vafladis of Jamaica, NY, also three grandchildren, Cassandra, Bobby, and Odessa Slauson all of Bethany.
Funeral services in celebration of Paul’s life will be held Saturday at 9:00 am from the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour, to Christ Church, Amity Road, Bethany for a service of Requiem Eucharist at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be sent to the Bethany Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Amity Road, Bethany, CT 06524.
