Obituary for Pauline Poplaski

ANSONIA, CT: Pauline Poplaski, age 99 of Myrtle Avenue entered into rest July 4, 2002 at her home; she was the beloved wife of the late Felix Poplaski. Mrs. Poplaski was born February 21, 1903 in Ansonia, daughter of the late Valentine and Amelia Federowicz Sobolisky. She was a lifelong Ansonia resident, and a communicant of ST. Joseph Church. Pauline was a member and Past President of the Falcon Ladies Auxiliary, and she had also done volunteer work for the American Red Cross, and also the Salvation Army.
She leaves her loving family including, 1 daughter Helen Hassett of Southbury, 1 sister Agnes Ray of Newtown, 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 4 great, great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West church Street, Seymour, to St. Joseph Church, Ansonia where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in ST. Michael Cemetery, Derby.
