SEYMOUR, CT: Peter Shull age 60 of South Shepherd Street, Houston, TX, for the past 25 years, formerly of 106 Bungay Road, Seymour, entered into rest March 4, 2002 in Houston. He was the beloved husband of the late Carol Shull.
Mr. Shull was born June 26, 1941 in Derby, son of the late Lardner and Florence Bristol Shull. He was a petroleum landman consultant in Houston, and a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. Peter attended Seymour public schools, the Hopkins Grammer School, New Haven, and was a graduate of Amherst College in MA. He was a beautiful and gentle spirit who will be deeply missed by his friends and family.
Peter leaves his loving family including 1 son, Tim Shull of Houston; 1 daughter, Samantha Massow and her husband Todd of Virginia Beach, VA; and 1 sister Wendy Rittweger of Seymour. Dear Peter, We wish we had a chance to say goodbye. We know you are up dancing in the sky. We look up and think of you and we can’t wait to be with you. You were the best person we knew and there will be no one like you. We love you forever.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour with the Rev.Linda Tocher officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. Family and friends may call at the funeral home also on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Memorial gifts may be made to Samantha Massow, for a memorial bench to be dedicated in Peter’s memory in care of the funeral home.
