OXFORD, CT: Phyllis Ann Piekarski, age 42 of Lake Drive entered into peaceful rest April 15, 2003 at her home, she was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Piekarski. She was born July 22, 1960 in Brooklyn, NY, beloved daughter of John Ramirez of Palm Harbor, FL, and the late Phyllis (Smith ) Ramirez. Phyllis was a communicant of Trinity Episcopal Church, Seymour, and a graduate of Seymour High School class of 1978. She resided in Seymour since 1966, before moving to Oxford five years ago.
Besides her father, Phyllis leaves her companion of many years Knut Shoplack of Oxford, daughters Breanna Lyn Piekarski, and Taylor Rae Piekarski of Oxford, Knut’s children, Timothy Shoplack of Oxford, Jason Shoplack, and Torrey Shoplack both of Naples, FL, Jaime Shoplack of Orlando, FL, and Cheryl Shoplack of Southbury. Her brother William A. Ramirez predeceased her.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:15 a.m. from the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour to Trinity Episcopal Church for a Requiem Eucharist at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Trinity Cemetery, Seymour.
