Mrs. Rita Marie Paul, age 78, of Seymour, beloved wife of the late Gerald Paul, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Griffin Hospital, Derby.

She was the daughter of the late Gabriel and Angelina (Previtera) Criscuolo and was born on September 7, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY. She was a resident of Seymour for the past 52 years. Mrs. Paul was a pickler for Seymour Specialty Wire for many years before her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Augustine Church and an avid New York Yankees fan and Jai Alal fan and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mrs. Paul is survived by her devoted sons, William J. Paul and Gerald J. Paul both of Seymour and four grandsons, Gerald, Jesse, Branden and Bradley and several nieces and nephews. Her brothers, Joseph and Michael Criscuolo and her sister, Gloria Titta predeceased her.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday, June 25 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment to follow in Mount Saint Peter Cemetery, Derby.
