SEYMOUR, CT: Robert P. Moreland, Sr., age 45 of Meadow Street, entered into rest April 3, 2002. He was the beloved husband of Roberta Koslosky Moreland.
Mr. Moreland was born April 16, 1956 in Norfolk, VA son of Charles Moreland of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Virginia Warion Barton of Seymour. He was also stepson of the late William Barton. Robert was a Seymour resident for most of his life, and was a member of the Seymour Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was an employee of Scap Auto Group, Fairfield in the inventory control department.
Besides his wife and parents he leaves his loving family including; his grandmother, Tekla Warion of Seymour, 2 sons, Robert P. Moreland, Jr. and his wife Alicia of Seymour, and Christopher Moreland of Seymour, 1 daughter Jacqueline Moreland of Seymour. 5 brothers, Charles Moreland of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Mark Moreland of Charlottesville, VA, David Barton, Gary Barton, and Jonathan Barton all of Seymour. 2 sisters, Judith Barton Anderson, and Debi Barton both of West Haven. 2 grandchildren, Nathan Moreland, and Abigail Moreland both of Seymour; also several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton.
