Mrs. Sadie Burrows, age 96, of Seymour, beloved wife of the late Jesse Richard Burrows, Sr. passed away on Monday, January 31, 2011 at Shady Knoll Health Care in Seymour. She was born on November 19, 1914 in Seymour and was the daughter of the late Stanley and Irene (Ksenia) Brenia. Mrs. Burrows was a member of the Seymour United Methodist Church. Mrs. Burrows is survived by two devoted children, Jesse Burrows, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Oxford and Jeanette Burrows Croteau of Seymour, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She also survived by two sisters, Helen Culik of Ansonia and Ann Fishum of Seymour and several nieces and nephews. Her two sisters and two brothers predeceased her. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 4 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment to be held in the spring at Trinity Cemetery, Seymour.
