ANSONIA, CT: Sara J. Rillstone, age 85 of Ansonia entered into peaceful rest January 3, 2011 at Hilltop Health Center; she was the beloved wife of the late Edward Rillstone. Mrs. Rillstone was born May 9, 1925 in Oxford, daughter of the late George and Nellie (Finkle) Burt. She was retired from the Ideal Manufacturing Company, Beacon Falls. Sara was a communicant of Trinity Episcopal Church, Seymour where she also lovingly donated her time and talent to the Prayer Shawl Ministry. Sara loved the special times she was able to be with her grandchildren.

Sara leaves her loving family including her son, Warren Rillstone and his wife Cheryl of Ansonia, two daughters, Donna Toothill and her husband Arthur of Griswold, and Cheryl Batistta and her husband John of Waterbury, a brother, Albert Burt of Naugatuck, two sisters, Gladys Malasankas of Oxford, and Evelyn Bernier of Seymour, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her brothers George, Charles, and Sidney Burt, and sisters, Bernice Jennings and Shirley Burt predeceased her.

All services are private. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be sent to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
