NAUGATUCK, CT: Stanley J. Gryken, Jr., 52 of Naugatuck entered into peaceful rest May 16, 2011; he was the beloved husband of Linda (Makowski) Gryken. He was born August 4, 1958 in Derby, beloved son of Marion (Horton) Gryken of Seymour, and the late Stanley J. Gryken, Sr. Stanley was employed by Gem Manufacturing Co., Waterbury as an Eyelet Toolmaker. He formerly resided in Seymour, and was a 1976 Graduate of Seymour High School. Stanley had a genuine love of hunting and fishing, and was a member and Vice President of the Naugatuck Valley Beagle Club in Beacon Falls where he enjoyed preparing the fish fry's, and pig roasts there.

He will be fondly remembered as a loving father to his two children, Stanley J. Gryken, III, and Stephanie Gryken both of Naugatuck, he also leaves his loving sisters, Beverly Albro and her husband David of Oxford, Jeanne Steinnagel and her husband Helmut of N. Stonington, and Marlene Charney and her husband Richard of Milford, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday at 9:15 a.m. from the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour to St. Augustine Church, 35 Washington Ave., Seymour where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at the family's convenience in St. Augustine Cemetery.
