OXFORD, CT: Stella Collon, age 91 of Quaker Farms Road, entered into peaceful rest, February 15, 2004 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby, she was the beloved wife of the late George Collon, Jr. Mrs. Collon was born February 12, 1912 in Seymour. She retired after many years from the former Seymour Products Company of Seymour as a press operator. Stella resided in Seymour for most of her life before moving to Oxford ten years ago; she was a communicant of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Seymour.
Stella leaves her loving family including a son, George Collon, and a daughter Elizabeth Cotnoir and her husband Walter all of Oxford, three sisters, May Marciano of Monsey, NY, Julia Woytivich of Seymour, and Christine Fenner of Yonkers, NY, four grandchildren, Donna Rollinson, Jennifer Littlefield, and Kristin Collon all of Oxford, and Darlene Cotnoir of Ansonia, also two great grandchildren, Devon and Paige Rollinson both of Oxford.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10:15 a.m. from the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour, to the Church of the Good Shepherd where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery.
