Obituary for Theodor A. Metz

Naugatuck, CT: Theodor A. Metz, age 72 of Naugatuck entered into peaceful rest February 29th at his home. He was the beloved husband of the late Arline ( Bendinskis) Metz. Mr. Metz was born January 2, 1936 in Aschaffenburg, Germany, son of the late Valentin and Dorothea (Schmit) Metz. Theodor retired in 1998 from Allied Signal, where he worked as an electrician. Mr. Metz was a veteran of the United States Army, during Peace Time, and a communicate of the Church of the Good Shepherd. Theodor is survived by his son Eric J. Metz and his wife Debrah of Newtown; his daughter Christine Willis and her husband John of Naugatuck, his two sisters: Helmi Triana of PA; Ericka Stucke of FL. His three granddaughters: Amanda, Mary Elizabeth and Susan, his two nieces and one nephew.
A funeral procession will gather by 9:30 a.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street on Wednesday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Mountain Road, Seymour. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Seymour. Mr. Metz will receive full Military Honors. Theodor’s family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in
