SEYMOUR, CT: Thomas Francis Keeffe, age 84 of Meadow Street, entered into rest April 27, 2002 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby; he was the beloved husband of Margaret Ann Klecka Keeffe.
Mr. Keeffe was born July 23, 1917 in New York, NY, son of the late Thomas and Margaret Giblin Keeffe. He was a Seymour resident for the past 6 years, formerly of Mastic Beach, NY . Thomas was a retired machinist with the Gleitzman Company, Queens, NY Mr. Keeffe was a WW II US Army Airforce Veteran. He was also an avid baseball fan.
Besides his wife Thomas leaves his loving family including 1 son, The Rev. Thomas Keeffe and his wife Pauline of Seymour, 1 daughter, Virginia Raneiri and her husband Carl of Shirley, NY, 2 brothers, William Keeffe in NJ, and James Keeffe in CA, 2 sisters, Kathleen Walker, and Patricia Schmidt both of Queens, NY, 3 grandchildren, Thomas W. Keeffe, Christine Raneiri, and Carl Raneiri all of Shirley, NY. His brothers Jack and Neil Keeffe, and his sister Margaret Byer all predeceased him.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. In the Seymour Foursquare Gospel Church, 56 West Street, Seymour. Interment will be in Mountain Meadows Cemetery.
