OXFORD, CT: Thomas Pope age 66 of Oxford entered into peaceful rest September 15, 2011. He was born March 6, 1945 in Derby, son of the late Clark and Erma (Douillet) Pope. Thomas had formerly worked at Ideal Manufacturing, Beacon Falls. He attended St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, he enjoyed fishing and loved to do yard work especially stacking firewood; he was an avid NY Yankees and UCONN Basketball fan. Thomas mostly enjoyed the time he spent with his grandnieces and nephews.

Thomas leaves his loving family including two sisters, Gloria Hall of Oxford and her companion Brian Fitzpatrick, and Violet Vakousky of Oxford and her companion Carl Pudim, nieces and nephews, Billy, Brian and Gordon Hall, and Bridget Romagma and Laura Crane, and several grandnieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
