Milton and Peggy Cochran
Dear Mrs. Tarby and family:
An era has ended with the loss of your loved one. I met Mr. Tarby when my husband Milt took me into your liquor store back in 1972. Mr. Tarby was always so happy to see Milt and of course they always talked baseball. I could tell that he had a special place in his heart for Milt and he was truly sorry for his being wounded in Vietnam. Mr. Tarby always carried our packages out to the car for Milt and would stand there, by the car and wave goodbye till we were out of sight. It was always a pleasure to go in and see this man who was always in a good mood. Milt fondly remembers when Mr. Tarby used to umpire...he can still hear him in that authorative voice of his calling a strike and thrusting his right arm out...you didn't argue one of his calls. He is remembered fondly in our hearts and minds.
With sincere sympathy,
Milton and Peggy Cochran...formerly of Seymour, now residing in Scottsdale, AZ.
