Obituary for Wasil ""Bill"" Fatula

SEYMOUR, CT: Wasil "Bill" Fatula, age 79 of Bissell Place, entered into peaceful rest April 9, 2003 at the Griffin Hospital, he was the beloved husband of Mary (Beechun) Fatula. Mr. Fatula was born January 14, 1924 in Seymour, son of the late Paul and Elizabeth (Pupchik) Fatula. He was a lifelong Seymour resident, and was a communicant of Trinity Episcopal Church. Wasil was a retired screw machine operator of forty years, from the former Seymour Brass Turning Company. He was a WW II U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran, and was a member and chaplain of the David S. Miles Post 174 American Legion, Oxford. Bill was a member of the Morningstar Lodge #47 AF and AM; he was also an avid fisherman and gardener.
Besides his wife Wasil leaves his loving family including, his son William Fatula and his wife Barbara of Clinton, his sister Ann Witzmann of Seymour, grandchildren, Paul Fatula of Oak Park, IL, David Fatula of Cambridge, MA, and Jennifer Yungk of Clinton. His brother John Fatula predeceased him.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 12:15 p.m. from the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour to Trinity Episcopal Church for a Requiem Eucharist at 1:00 p.m.. Interment with full Military Honors will be in Trinity Cemetery.
