BETHANY, CT: Anita M. Hale Gilbert, age 92 of Bethany entered into peaceful rest March 15, 2004 at the CT Hospice, Branford; she was the beloved wife of the late Earl L. Gilbert, sister of the late Ivan Hale, and the late Vernon (Tom) Hale; mother of Joan S. Tatro of Sarasota, FL, William Gilbert of Bethany, grandmother of Raymond Tufts of Meriden, Kris Tufts of Las Vegas, NV, Elizabeth Gilbert of Callaway, VA, Katherine Gilbert of Wallingford, and William Gilbert, Jr. of Hamden, also three great grandchildren; her grandson, Brian Tufts predeceased her. Anita was born June 12, 1911 in Hamden, daughter of the late Clifford and Marguerite (Barker) Hale; she lived most of her life in Woodbridge and Bethany.
All services will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour.
